Medina Won’t Seek Sixth Term in Assembly

Assembly Member Jose Medina (D-Riverside) has announced he will not seek a sixth term in the California State Assembly for the 2023-24 session.  

Medina represents Assembly District 61, which consists of the cities of Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Perris. 

Prior to his announcement, one Democrat, Riverside County Board of Education member Corey Jackson, had filed to challenge him.
