Passed the Assembly Public Safety Committee on June 9. Pending a hearing in the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
SB 691 would require law enforcement agency policy to limit body camera recording of any medical or psychological treatment performed by emergency service personnel that could embarrass or humiliate the patient. Emergency service personnel is limited to state or local fire agency employees, such as firefighters and paramedics.
