SB 295 would require entities to provide information, upon the Attorney General’s request, on the use of a pricing algorithm. This bill would also prohibit entities from using or distributing any pricing algorithm if the person has actual knowledge that the pricing algorithm uses or incorporates competitor data. For violations, the Attorney General would be authorized to bring a civil action.
