SB 1432 (Caballero, D-Merced)

SB 1432 is CHA’s proposal to address the 2030 seismic requirement. The bill would extend the 2030 deadline to 2033, with up to an additional five years depending on the project. The bill would also address additional post-earthquake disaster preparedness requirements for hospitals, assess opportunities for financial support, and require the state to assess the financial and access impacts of the 2030 requirement.
