SB 1432 (Caballero, D-Merced)

SB 1432 is CHA’s proposal to address the 2030 seismic requirement. The bill would extend the 2030 deadline, address additional post-earthquake disaster preparedness requirements for hospitals, assess opportunities for financial support, require the state to assess the financial and access impacts of the 2030 requirement, and address rural hospitals’ unique concerns.
