AB 1854, sponsored by the attorney general, prohibits corporations that provide electronic communication services, remote computing services, or financial services to the general public from responding to certain information requests. The bill was amended to remove the provisions that apply to hospitals and other health care providers. With these amendments, CHA is neutral.
