On May 27, The Joint Commission (TJC) announced that it will resume surveys in June. The announcement says that TJC account executives will contact organizations due for a survey to assess the impact that COVID-19 has had on their operations and their current state.
It also notes that TJC is reviewing factors and criteria for determining which organizations will be surveyed, including prioritizing those in low-risk areas.
CHA is organizing a webinar with TJC to assist members in preparing for the surveyors. More information on the webinar, including the date, time, and registration link, will be included in a future edition of CHA News.
