The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced the release of an additional $482 million in payments as part of the Phase 4 distribution of the Provider Relief Fund.
These “batch 6” payments were made to approximately 2,293 providers. From “batch 6,” 378 California providers received $45.7 million.
As of May 18, HRSA has processed 94% of Phase 4 applications, distributing a total of $14 billion of the $17 billion allocated for this phase. Over 12,200 California providers have received $1.79 billion from the Phase 4 distribution thus far. The remaining applications — those for which providers have not received a denial notice or payment — are undergoing additional review as part of HRSA’s risk mitigation and cost containment strategy.
