The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced the release of an additional $427 million in payments as part of the Phase 4 distribution of the Provider Relief Fund.

These “batch 7” payments were made to approximately 1,450 providers. From “batch 7,” 269 California providers received $77.3 million.

As of June 16, HRSA has processed 98% of Phase 4 applications, distributing a total of $14.3 billion of the $17 billion allocated for this phase. More than 12,480 California providers have received $1.87 billion from the Phase 4 distribution thus far. The remaining applications — those for which providers have not received a denial notice or payment — are undergoing additional review as part of HRSA’s risk mitigation and cost containment strategy.
