What’s happening: On Nov. 27, payments for the 2024 Hospital Fee Program, fee-for-service payment cycle 6, are due to the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
What else to know: DHCS mailed invoices to hospitals on Oct. 28.
DHCS prefers that hospitals make fee payments via electronic funds transfer (EFT), but it still accepts wire transfers. As of June 1, 2023, DHCS has been processing EFTs, including wire payments, through U.S. Bank. For payments sent via wire, please use the attached U.S. Bank wire instructions.
It is critical that all hospitals pay their invoices in full and on time. CHA encourages those at risk of not paying their invoices in full by Nov. 27 to notify DHCS about any financial hardship in advance of the due date.
To notify DHCS directly, ask questions, or request an electronic copy of your invoice, email qaf@dhcs.ca.gov.
