The CHA Publications App is available to nonmembers through an annual subscription.
Subscription to the CHA Publications App provides access to all CHA Publications* in the app, including CHA’s Consent, Privacy, Compliance, EMTALA and Survey manuals plus quick reference guides, sample forms, and more.
CHA Publications App subscriptions are available for Individuals or Enterprises. An Enterprise license provides all members of an organization access to the app and all content in it.
CHA no longer sells individual manuals.
Nonmembers are non-hospital health care providers, clinics, and post-acute facilities that serve hospitals. Education programs and publications are a membership benefit and are not available to eligible non-member California hospitals.
Purchases are nonrefundable and subject to terms and conditions.
* Model Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules is not available to nonmembers and is not in the CHA Publications app.
Terms and Conditions
Purchase entitles purchaser to a one-year subscription to the CHA Publications application (CHA ePub). Purchase is subject to the terms of a limited use license.
By subscribing to CHA ePub, you will license, not purchase, the right to access and use CHA ePub and the manuals and other materials that can be accessed through it (CHA Materials) subject to the terms of the license. You will receive a limited, non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exclusive, royalty-free revocable license for non-commercial use only of CHA ePub and the CHA Materials (License) for a term of one year. With respect to CHA Materials, the License permits you to use them personally or in your business for non-commercial purposes, including downloading and and/or printing any or all of the CHA Materials; the License also permits you to customize and use the templates included in the CHA Materials for your own use, use in your business, or use with your clients. You may not post content to a company Intranet or share CHA ePub or the CHA Materials with any third parties except as provided herein.
If the License is violated, CHA reserves the right to revoke the use of CHA ePub and/or ability to access the CHA Materials.
CHA solely owns each and all of the CHA Materials, which are protected by the copyright laws of the State of California and the United States of America.

Purchaser will receive a limited, non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exclusive, royalty-free revocable license for non-commercial use only of CHA ePub and the CHA Materials (License) for a term of one year that permits Purchaser to grant access only to others within the Purchaser’s enterprise (Purchaser’s Users) subject to the terms of this License for the following activities. The License permits Purchaser’s Users to use the CHA Materials in Purchaser’s business for non-commercial purposes, including downloading and and/or printing any or all of the CHA Materials; the License also permits Purchaser’s Users to customize and use the templates included in the CHA Materials for use in Purchaser’s business or with Purchaser’s clients and to post content to a company Intranet. Neither Purchaser nor Purchaser’s Users may share CHA ePub or the CHA Materials with any third parties except as provided herein.
If the License is violated, CHA reserves the right to terminate and revoke Purchaser’s subscription to CHA ePub and the ability of Purchaser and/or Purchaser’s Users to use CHA ePub and/or utilize CHA Materials pursuant to this License.
Purchaser’s Users are not third-party beneficiaries under this License and have no rights under it.
