The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has officially withdrawn the proposed Medicaid Fiscal Accountability Rule. In mid-September, CMS announced plans to rescind the proposal.

CHA is pleased that CMS responded to comments from CHA and other stakeholders that urged the agency to withdraw the proposed rule, which would have had devastating impacts to the Medi-Cal program.
