The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has delayed the start of the radiation oncology (RO) model until Jan. 1, 2023, due to a provision in the Protecting Medicare and American Farmers from Sequester Cuts Act (S. 610).
CMS has posted additional resources for the RO model, including frequently asked questions and a clinical data elements collection and submission guide. Questions can be directed to the RO model team help desk at RadiationTherapy@cms.hhs.gov or (844) 711-2664 (Option 5).
