The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has added 11 additional Medicare telehealth services for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency, including cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services.
The full list of Medicare telehealth services is available on CMS’ website. In addition, CMS released an updated State Medicaid & CHIP Telehealth Toolkit, intended to assist policymakers in expanding access to telehealth services in Medicaid programs under COVID-19 public health emergency flexibilities.
