CHA will host a member forum Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. (PT) to solicit member feedback on the specialty care models proposed rule, recently issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). While CMS proposes to establish two new mandatory payment models, the forum will focus on the Radiation Oncology (RO) Model.
During the call, CHA will provide a brief overview of key provisions of RO Model, which would require participation from radiotherapy providers and suppliers — including hospital outpatient departments, physician group practices, and freestanding radiation therapy centers — that furnish radiotherapy services within randomly selected core-based statistical areas.
CHA will also solicit member feedback on its draft comment letter, which is due to CMS Sept. 16. Please register online by Sept. 4 at noon (PT).
