CHA DataSuite has issued a hospital-specific analysis of the Medicare hospital federal fiscal year (FFY) 2024 wage index reclassification.
Applications for FFY 2024 hospital wage index reclassifications are due to the Medicare Geographic Classification Review Board by Sept. 1. The potential core-based statistical areas for consideration of reclassification to select from have been reduced using a straight-line distance formula, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services distance requirements, and a Google application programming interface.
