CHA Comments on Office of Health Care Affordability’s Board Proceedings

This post has been archived and contains information that may be out of date.

Last month, CHA wrote to the Health Care Affordability Board to publicly comment on several important issues currently under discussion and consideration by the board.

Specifically, the letter advised on how the board should approach outstanding appointments to the Office of Health Care Affordability (OHCA) advisory committee, raised questions about various limits of the data collection approach OHCA is considering, and urged careful consideration of the policies that are established to set, adjust, monitor, and enforce the future cost targets.
