CHA Alert Urges Congress to Extend the Deadline to Spend PRF Payments

On Aug. 19, CHA issued an alert asking members to call or email their U.S. representative and senator and urge them to support bipartisan legislation extending the deadline to spend Provider Relief Fund payments.

With COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations on the rise again, representatives and senators are asked to support the bipartisan Provider Relief Fund Deadline Extension Act, which would give providers additional time to use their unspent funds so that hospitals can continue the fight against COVID-19 and protect their communities during the ongoing pandemic.
