The California Department of Public Health has issued All Facilities Letter (AFL) 23-14, which notifies hospice agencies, facilities, and interested stakeholders that the Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ) is hosting a stakeholder meeting on March 14 from 10 a.m. to noon (PT) to discuss hospice regulations.
The AFL includes several questions for which CHCQ seeks input, including feedback on how organizations seeking to establish a hospice can demonstrate there is an unmet need for services in a proposed geographic service area.
