The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has released FAQs on the July 26 testing unvaccinated workers health order dated Aug. 9. Of note, it states:
- The state’s regulating entities will enforce this requirement. For example, CDPH will enforce this requirement at hospitals.
- The facility can accept proof from another employer (if the worker is employed by a staffing agency) or the employee themselves so long as the documentation meets all the requirements and criteria as defined by the CDPH Vaccine Records and Standards.
- Pharmacies are not covered by the order.
