The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has assessed a new round of administrative penalties on eight California hospitals, totaling $437,425, for immediate jeopardy incidents.

CHA’s Immediate Jeopardy Administrative Penalties web page lists the latest incidents, along with the department’s press release. A tab-format display includes high-level details for each of the new penalties, including the CDPH district office that investigated the event, the penalty amount, a description of the event and a link to the CDPH 2567 form.

The web page also includes more detailed information on penalties, including all prior penalties, as an exportable, filterable Excel spreadsheet. Data are captured at the time of the announcement. Data not available from CDPH are not included in the spreadsheet.
