Privacy Breach Reports Due March 1

Federal law requires hospitals and other HIPAA-covered entities to report all 2022 HIPAA privacy breaches affecting fewer than 500 patients to the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) by March 1. 

Electronic Clinical Quality Measure Submission Deadline is Feb. 28 

The deadline for hospitals that participate in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting and/or Medicare Promoting Interoperability Programs to submit data for the mandatory Safe Use of Opioids-Concurrent Prescribing electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) and three self-selected eCQMs is Feb. 28 at 11:59 p.m. (PT).
