All Plan Letter Reminds Health Plans About Continued Coverage of COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing

Upon the announcement of a state public health order on testing for employees in health care settings, the Department of Managed Health Care released All Plan Letter 21-020.

It reminds health plans that per federal law, they must cover COVID-19 testing whether a person is symptomatic or asymptomatic and regardless of whether the person has had recent known or suspected exposure to COVID-19.
