Last week, the American Hospital Association (AHA) released new public service announcements (PSAs) and related digital content encouraging vaccination against COVID-19 for still-unvaccinated health care workers and members of the public.

There are three PSAs — I’m a PhysicianI’m a Nurse, and a hybrid, featuring both — in which clinicians share their reasons for getting the vaccine. They also encourage their colleagues and communities to overcome the concerns that prevent them from getting vaccinated by asking questions and seeking guidance from the trusted health care professionals in their lives.

A fourth PSA — On the Fence (available in 30– and 15-second versions) — features a physician talking to three vaccine-hesitant people, discussing their questions, and encouraging them to seek answers from trusted resources.

Hospitals and health systems can add their own branding for use in their local media outlets.

All the videos and more digital content to support these vaccination efforts are available on the AHA’s vaccine confidence webpage.
