The American Hospital Association (AHA) will hold an AHA members-only webinar with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. (PT) to discuss a proposed process and draft methodology for reviewing hospital public assistance projects for potential duplication of benefits with patient care revenue. Registration is required.
On Aug. 9, CHA sent a letter to FEMA in response to the agency’s proposed efforts to prevent duplication of benefits and raised concerns about the way the draft methodology was shared and the lack of opportunity for hospitals to provide comments. CHA encourages AHA-member hospitals to participate in this webinar to provide feedback to the agency.
