SB 384 would prohibit a business from using a price-setting algorithm that is used by two or more competitors to set a price or supply level of a good or service. The bill would also authorize the Attorney General, city attorney, or county counsel to file a civil action for violations, with civil penalties up to $1,000 per violation.
