What’s happening: Individuals leading and supporting hospital efforts to eliminate workplace violence are invited to the next Hospital Quality Institute (HQI) virtual forum on Dec. 12 at noon (PT).
What else to know: The forum will discuss workplace violence concerns and interventions specific to critical access and rural hospitals. Registration is open, and participation is free for all CHA and HQI member hospitals.
Featured speakers will include:
- Adriana Hernandez-Santiago, employee health coordinator, Watsonville Community Hospital
- Alicia Doss, director of quality, risk and compliance, Modoc Medical Center
- Daniel Pensabene, director of environmental safety & security, Mountains Community Hospital
The monthly virtual forums are a part of HQI’s Community of Practice on Eliminating Hospital Workplace Violence. The purpose of these forums is to connect individuals working on the issue of workplace violence in hospitals through a collaborative network designed for peer-to-peer learning and exchange.
Slides and recordings of past virtual forums are available on the program website.
Questions can be directed to Boris Kalanj, HQI’s director of programs, at bkalanj@hqinstitute.org.
