CAHHS is excited to announce the 60th annual California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference will be held in-person only Feb. 21-22, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. Hospital volunteer leaders, paid staff who manage volunteer programs, and community partners looking to expand their volunteer knowledge are encouraged to attend. The two-day conference will offer educational sessions, networking discussion groups, and social activities. Early-bird registration rates will be available through Nov. 2022; registration details are forthcoming.
The conference planning committee is currently accepting presentation proposals for general and concurrent breakout sessions. Speakers interested in sharing their knowledge and expertise are encouraged to complete the presentation proposal by Oct. 31 and will be notified of the decision by Nov. 18. Recommended volunteer-related topics include, but are not limited to:
- Auxiliary/Guild/Service Leagues
- Joint Commission
- Junior/Youth Volunteers
- Recruitment
- Recognition
- Retail/Gift Shops
- Volunteer & Staff Training
- Volunteer Management
- Workforce
