2022 Conference Offers Parliamentarian Procedures Session for Volunteer Leaders

California State Association of Parliamentarians (CSAP) President, Sally F. LaMacchia, Esq., PRP, will present Parliamentary Essentials for Active Members during the virtual 2022 California Hospital Volunteer Leadership Conference, Feb. 22-23. This educational session, comprised of three short presentations

  • What Does a Parliamentarian Do?
  • Active Membership Skills
  • Say It Now – This is How

is designed to increase parliamentary knowledge, build confidence, and review general meeting rules. The session will offer Q&A where participants are encouraged to ask any parliamentary related questions.

Conference registration will be available soon and will include an opportunity for participants to provide questions, comments or desired topics that will help guide the session discussion.

Ms. LaMacchia joined the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) in 2010. In November 2017 after a course of study on Robert’s Rules of Order and completion of a rigorous, 5-part, written examination, Ms. LaMacchia earned a Registered Parliamentarian credential from NAP. In September 2021, after a second course of study over a period of weeks, Ms. LaMacchia was awarded NAP’s highest credential, Professional Registered Parliamentarian (PRP).
