CHA is leading this effort on behalf of hospitals throughout the state, to support the rights of health care workers.
We highly encourage you to send all media requests and inquiries to Jan Emerson-Shea, CHA’s vice president, external affairs. If you have other questions, please email Kat Scott, senior vice president, state relations and advocacy.
Should you need to respond to local inquiries about the measure, the following messages and Q&A may be helpful.
MESSAGES
- NAME OF HOSPITAL strongly supports the health care workers we employ, and it’s our understanding that this measure would ensure health care workers have a voice when it comes to how their hard-earned dues money is being spent on political campaigns.
- As a member of CHA, we support this measure because right now health care union members have little to no say on how their dues are spent, and it is critical we protect Californians from continued political and special interest attacks on their health care.
