Pending the governor’s action.
SB 399 would prohibit an employer from taking an adverse action against an employee who declines to attend an employer-sponsored meeting or participate in, receive, or listen to communications regarding the employer’s opinion about religious or political matters. SB 399 would enable the employee to bring a civil action for damages and injunctive relief.
