CHA Issues Summary of Fourth Interim Final Rule on COVID-19 Policies, Regulatory Flexibilities

CHA has issued a summary of the recently published fourth interim final rule with comment period on policies and regulatory flexibilities available for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency. 

As outlined in the detailed summary prepared by Health Policy Alternatives, the interim final rule includes a number of policies related to COVID-19 vaccine coverage and payment, enhanced payments for COVID-19 treatments, state Medicaid program requirements, price transparency requirements for COVID-19 diagnostic tests, and an extension of the comprehensive care for joint replacement model.  

Comments are due to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services by 2 p.m. (PT) on Jan. 4, 2021.
